MSBO Event Policies

Attendee Registrations

Registration

• Membership dues must be paid in full to receive member pricing.

In-Person and Live Virtual

• Registration must be made online.
• Registration in advance of the event is preferred as some events have space limitations. MSBO will do its best to accommodate onsite registrants.

On-Demand

• Registration must be made online.
• Course access will be provided in the registration confirmation.

Payment Methods

• Payment can be made online via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express) or purchase order.
• If using a purchase order, the open invoice can be paid online via credit card by accessing your online account, clicking the My Account tab, then My Activities tab. Any open invoices will be displayed under the Current Billing section.
• If paying by check, make payable to: MSBO, 1001 Centennial Way, Ste 200, Lansing, MI 48917.
• Invoices must be paid prior to event attendance.
• MSBO reserves the right to place an organization on credit hold for non-payment of invoices. Credit hold means that no individual from that organization may register for any events until all outstanding invoices are paid.

Confirmations

• Registration confirmations will be sent via email once registration is completed.

Cancellation/Refund

• Cancellations must be sent via email to msbo@msbo.org.
• Cancellations 14 days prior to the event will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations within 14 days of the event:
  • Credit will be issued to the individual for in-person or live virtual events that are not available on demand and must be used by the end of the fiscal year.
  • In-person or live virtual event registrations are non-transferable.
  • Live virtual event registrations will be transferred to the on-demand event when available.

Continuing Education Credits/Certification

• Educational credits for event attendance cannot be issued and verified until documentation has been returned to MSBO showing completion and until the invoice is paid in full. (Purchase orders are not considered a form of payment).

College Credit

• MSBO partners with Wilkes University to provide an option for members to obtain a college degree that focuses specifically on school business administration. MSBO does not collect tuition fees for these programs. For more information on obtaining college credit, click here.

Privacy Practices

• MSBO collects attendee information that is subject to sharing with certain MSBO presenters, sponsors, exhibitors, and/or business partners. MSBO does not share attendee’s email address per MSBO Board Policy.

Exhibit Booths/Sponsorships Registrations

Registration

• Exhibit booths and sponsorships are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made online.

Payment Methods

• Payment can be made online via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express) or purchase order.
• If using a purchase order, the open invoice can be paid online via credit card by accessing your online account, clicking the My Account tab, then My Activities tab. Any open invoices will be displayed under the Current Billing section.
• If paying by check, make payable to:

• Invoices must be paid within two weeks of purchase or purchase will be surrendered.
• MSBO reserves the right to place an organization on credit hold for nonpayment of invoices. Credit hold means that no individual from that organization may register for any events until all outstanding invoices are paid.

Cancellation/Refund

• All Exhibit Booth and Sponsorship sales are final. No refunds or credits will be issued.
