The MSBO Annual Conference & Exhibit Show is the most comprehensive and cost effective professional development opportunity for school business officials in Michigan. This conference is appropriate for all school business professionals in the areas of accounting, finance, human resources, payroll, pupil accounting, facilities, transportation, technology, and nutritional services. Send a link to the interactive brochure to other people in your district who you think may benefit by attending.

Our opening General Session features Tim Skubick, Senior Capitol Correspondent and host of “Off the Record.” He will facilitate a dynamic interaction between the audience and legislators concerning issues related to education and school aid. Bring your questions and listen to what our legislators plan to do to address the challenges facing education in Michigan.

Our Wednesday lunch keynote features Lt. Col. (Ret.) Rob “Waldo” Waldman, a highly decorated F-16 fighter pilot and successful businessman. He will teach MSBO members to build trusting partnerships in rapidly changing environments. Waldo overcame severe claustrophobia and a paralyzing fear of heights to become a decorated F-16 fighter pilot, flying over 65 combat missions over Serbia and Iraq.

If you have questions about registration issues, please e-mail Marte Cadwell. Other questions should be e-mailed to Deneen Hansen or me at dmartell@msbo.org.

On behalf of the MSBO Board of Directors and staff, we are looking forward to seeing you at the MSBO 2014 Annual Conference & Exhibit Show.

See you in Grand Rapids!

David
