Michigan school districts with Underground Storage Tanks (UST) are federally mandated to have Class A, Class B, and Class C certified operators for their facilities with UST’s. Class A and B certifications designations require an examination, which is administered through the International Code Council (ICC). A test is not required for the Class C operator, but they must be properly trained.
MSBO is offering four testing preparation sessions to help district personnel prepare for the Class A and Class B exam. The exams are open book. Training will include providing the allowed testing materials and a thorough review of how to use them.
